We are enjoying perfect travel weather and superbe fall scenery. It's overcast with stripes of blue skies to brighten our spirits. It's not enough blue sky to make a Dutchman's pants (as my Mum would say) so I guess we won't be getting the sun in our eyes - but it's enough to make the yellows, oranges, and reds of the trees to glow with the iridescence of a Canadian Shield autumn. Thanks to the construction activities near Ottawa and sections beyond I expect we'll be adjusting our first night stop to Pembroke rather than North Bay. More to come.
